Sean Powell's 18-year-old body is feeding the maggots because a Florida teacher's attention was on his crotch rather than his cranium.
From pre-school to college, classrooms have become lairs where emotionally warped predators lay in wait for susceptible students — like animals hunting for prey.
On the normal end, teachers who truly care about students ardently accept the responsibility that goes along with being instructors, trainers, tutors, counselors, coaches, and often surrogate parents.
Then there are predators like Erin McLean, a wife and mother. When her thinking process slipped below her belt area, she betrayed the trust of her husband, her own children, Powell's mother and her profession.
Teachers who molest students are worse than animals.
Animals generally kill for survival. Sexual perverts like McLean molest students for the sheer sake of self-indulgence and then hide behind laws and union contracts for protection.
Animals instinctively know their enemies and avoid them. Children, on the other hand, trust teachers and walk right into their webs of deception.
Sadly, Powell's adult development below the hips did not reach his brain.
According to KnoxNews.com, Powell was sitting in a car outside the McLean's home.
This "duh" moment of childish immaturity set the stage for the grisly scene that followed. Powell's skull and membranes burst and splattered, like a fizzed-up bottle of red soda pop. The cause — a single rotating, twisting bullet fired by McLean's husband.
A CNN.com report stated that the husband's attorney emphasized that Eric McLean is a non-violent, excellent person who was just upset over the affair.
Well, by golly, if that is non-violent, what is violent?
Often too late, as in Powell's case, a parent's awareness that wicked individuals are using classrooms like hunting grounds comes only after their child has been victimized. When Powell's mother found out, her son was already entangled in the black widow's web of lust.
Animals of every species seek out the weak, vulnerable or unsuspecting victims as they themselves hide among the brush.
Counterfeit teachers hide among blackboards and framed certificates sharpening their manipulative come-hither skills like claws.
Meanwhile, McLean, the adulterer, child molester and party to murder, is on a paid vacation while the worms feed their young on Powell's rotting body.
Why should non-college sexual molestation matter to college students?
Do you have younger brothers and sisters in school? Better yet, do you have children who are in school?
State lines, as shown by English teacher Hugh Scott Wilson, do not bind depravity. Wilson taught at Washington Middle School in La Habra, Ca. In January 2007 he pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting two of his students in 2005.
Those students will possibly be your college classmates in 2008!
Is this the future you have planned for your children, or will you have to enroll your children in SWAT police training — in preschool — in order for them to survive the gauntlet of classroom perverts?
"The shot heard round the world" is a phrase that is commonly said to represent the start of the American Revolutionary War.
Teachers who utilize the lower parts of their anatomy as teaching instruments are like kids in a candy store, i.e. your schools.
The shot that killed Sean Powell is a call-to-arms to parents that the locks — the tenure laws — that regulate the candy store need to be changed.

The recent focus on sexually abusive teachers couching abuse in the guise of a romantic relationship should not just concern parents, but can also be a lesson to watch out for those who try and pressure people- including peers in age - into a sexual relationship. (Continued…)

Agreed, when McLean is convicted of criminal wrong-doing her tenure should be over. Perhaps an incoveninent reality at hand is that she is innocent until proven guilty. (Continued…)

I just want to say that I know Erin is not on paid leave at least. She was still doing her internship at the high school where this took place. Still she is not suffering any consequences for what took place. (Continued…)
